SECRETS TO MAKE YOUR PERFUME LAST

SECRETS TO MAKE YOUR PERFUME LAST

Fragrances transport you to where and who you want to be. Whether you're a sexy seductress in Paris or a flirtatious temptress at the beginning of a relationship... you can say a lot with your scent.

Luckily, Pure Romance has two luxury fragrances with pheromones, Dirty French and Truly Sexy Flirt. Choose from a seductive interpretation of wild orchid, blackberry, and vanilla musk or a bouquet of pure jasmine, sparkling lemon, and clean amber. Plus, the formula reacts with your body's natural chemistry to act as a sexual attractant.

But how do you ensure people smell your intoxicating fragrance without it being overpowering? We've rounded up the best tips and places to apply perfume so you can leave everyone speechless with your signature scent.

How to apply

The best time to spray your perfume is right after you shower. At that time, your skin is damp and free of dirt. Then, moisturize it with a Unscented lotion. All this moisture will help lock in the scent. Don't spray or walk through the fragrance; apply it directly to your skin. If you spray it, you'll waste precious product.

Also, store your perfume in a dark, dry place. You might be tempted to keep it in the bathroom, but humidity is detrimental to its beautiful fragrance. Keep it in a closet or in a room with a constant temperature.

Finally, although we recommend several application locations below, choose only one to avoid the fragrance becoming overwhelming.

Where to apply

Pulse points

These are the parts of your body that emit the most heat and maximize the fragrance of the perfume. It's no wonder women spray perfume on their neck or wrists, which are the most popular pulse points. But there are others you might not be familiar with, such as the inside of your elbows or behind your knees. When you apply the fragrance, you'll be tempted to rub it in, but avoid doing so because some of the perfume will disappear and you won't get a lasting scent.

Neckline

Applying perfume to your décolletage is perfect for any night out. Challenge your date to lean in for a better sniff. It can be the perfect foreplay, whether you're out on the town or enjoying a relaxing home-cooked meal.

Hair

Perfume doesn't always have to be applied directly to your skin; it's also perfect for your hair (especially if you tend to shake it throughout the day). It's a great way to make your perfume last because the fragrance adheres to the hair fibers. If you're worried that spraying perfume directly onto your hair will dry it out, spray it onto a brush and then comb your hair.

Upper part of the earlobes

You might be thinking, "What?!" But applying perfume to the tops of your ears is a good place because they're oilier than your earlobes, which means the fragrance will linger longer. So, if you usually apply it to the backs of your ears, switch it up and try the tops instead.

Ankles

You're always on the move, so make sure your olfactory signature moves with you. Applying the fragrance to your ankles means the fragrance will project wherever you go. Announce your entrance in style with this new application location.

Clothes

Be very careful when applying perfume to clothing. Spraying it on garments like wool or cashmere can make the scent last longer. But avoid spraying it on silk or chiffon, as this could stain them.

Enjoy these tips so you can have a long-lasting scent that makes you feel confident from dawn to dusk.
