Change is in the air! Caramel apple cider, pumpkin pie, and falling leaves as you wander hopelessly through a maze, enjoying the sights and sounds of autumn.
The arrival of fall means the arrival of sanity for many parents. Children are ending their summer days and heading back to school. Finally! After seemingly years of sending your kids to camp, begging them to go outside, and dealing with endless energy, those kids are out of the house for eight hours a day. While you'll read many articles on how to get your kids back into the school routine, this isn't one of them. It's time to focus on... you and your sex life !
Here are some ways to get back into the sexual groove:
Go to bed at a certain time
Getting the right amount of sleep is extremely important. While we don't necessarily need the 8-10 hours that children should sleep, we do need enough energy to last through the day and after-school activities in the bedroom. As soon as children's heads hit the pillow and they're really Asleep (and not faking it until you go), it's time to bed! It's your time to sleep, get ready for the next day, or have a little fun.
Choose your clothes
Who wants to start the day shuffling through a pile of clothes trying to decide what to wear? Tell your kids to pick out their own clothes. Lead by example. There's nothing sexier than self-confidence. Choose clothes that make you feel like you can conquer the world. If you want to take it a step further, add some... lingerie underneath to let your sexiest side shine.
Get up 15 minutes earlier
Before the chaos of getting ready begins, set your alarm earlier to delight in the morning. There's no better way to start the day than with a little cardio in the bedroom! If you have a partner, surprise them or try a toy Take advantage of the peace and quiet to get your "O" moment.
Have a playlist
A great way to live in the moment is to have a playlist ready in the morning. Use one of ours Or create your own. Start the morning with an upbeat song to get your heart pumping. Then, switch up your playlist with something more kid-friendly to get the whole family moving.
Reminder cards
"Pack lunches" or "Don't forget your homework" don't have to be the only reminder messages in your life. Leave messages for your partner or yourself like "Have a great day, sexy!" or "Looking forward to our bedtime routine ;)." Get creative with where you hide them and what you write on them.
Get a good routine for your children and yourself. Hopefully, this back-to-school routine will liven up your mornings and nights.
